Five hundred cameras at the NSC will keep order

Over 500 cameras have been installed at the Olympic Stadium to observe law and order. The news was announced by the acting director of the NSC Olympic, Timur Kondratiev, during an inspection of the arena by the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Wednesday, 21 March, a correspondent of the Information Centre Ukraine-2012 reports.

He said that 360 cameras, about three quarters of the total, will be placed in the stadium bowl. A reminder that according to Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaliy Zakharchenko, the matches of Euro-2012 at the NSC Olympic will be guarded by 1,500 police officers, who will provide security around the stadium perimeter. At the final match law enforcement in the area of the NSC will rise to 7,000 police officers. Volunteers will help to provide security to thousands of fans in the arena.
