Tourism experts are forecasting that approximately one million foreign guests will visit Ukraine during Euro-2012. On the one hand, this is a test for country’s infrastructure but, on the other, this is a chance to present ourselves in the best possible way in order to make Euro fans return to the Ukrainian land together with their relatives and friends. Therefore, the increase in the flow of tourists into our country will reach 30-40 per cent as early as in 2012. Marko Dević, the forward from Metalist Kharkiv, is the first football player from Western Europe to have put on the football shirt of the Ukrainian national team. History does not reveal whether it could have been otherwise, but it is known that he had acquired high qualification in mastering leather ball namely in the Ukrainian club: he passed his trial by fire and was formed in it, and he received an invitation from this club to play for the national team in a friendly match against Norway in November 2008.
