Euro Parliament MP: Ukraine preparing for Euro in line with international standards

The main step that Ukraine has to take on the path to membership of the European Union is to improve its image. And the holding of Euro-2012 will have a very positive impact on Ukraine's image. This was announced by MEP and member of the European Conservatives and Reformists, Michal Kaminski. 

"I am following Ukraine's preparations for the Euro. Holding the championship has a very positive impact on Ukraine's image in Europe. As those standards that are important for the path to joining the European Union are being implemented. This is important for residents of each host city, as life, especially in those cities must become better whilst European standards are being introduced", the site of host city Lviv quoted Michal Kaminski as saying.

"Ukraine, including Lviv, is preparing for the Euro in line with international standards. I believe that great success awaits Ukraine. I do not know if I will find time to watch football, but I am a fan of everything taking place in Ukraine at the highest level ", Michal Kaminski added.
